Former Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy on Saturday held the ministers from Telangana region responsible for the suicides committed for the cause of statehood.
Talking to reporters here, Komatireddy said that the ministers from region have not only failed to take up the cause of Telangana, but were also responsible for the deaths of hundreds of youth who took the extreme step. He said cases of abetting for suicide should be registered against all the Telangana ministers as their collective failure drove the youth to suicide. He did not rule out approaching a court against the Telangana ministers.
Further he said that the Martyrs’' curse would not spare the Telangana ministers, particularly Panchayat Raj Minister K Jana Reddy, whom he described as an obstacle in the formation of Telangana. He also asked whether the Telangana Congress MPs would take responsibility for the six suicide deaths that happened post all-party meeting in New Delhi on December 28.
