Director Hints About The Sequel To Mammootty Iconic Film

Mammootty's neo-noir crime drama Big B (2007) was considered as one of the iconic roles in his career. Now, Mammootty is set to reprise his role as Bilal John Kurishingal in Amal Neerad’s action-thriller Bilal, a sequel to his blockbuster, the director hinted on social media.

Neerad shared a striking video featuring Mammootty as Bilal on Facebook. The video is created by Rajeev Gopal, the renowned artist behind the title graphics of Big B. Director Amal Neerad sharing the video wrote, " Thank you so much, dear Rajeev Gopal, who worked on the title graphics of Big B and is one of the greatest technicians I have ever collaborated with,”

The 38-second-long video begins with intense visuals of guns and skulls, gradually transitioning into lion heads and robots. It then leads to a close-up shot of Mammootty sporting long hair, a mustache and a beard. The video features the background score composed by Sushin Shyam for Neerad's recent blockbuster with Mammootty, Bheeshma Parvam.

Director Amal Neerad has been hinting about the return of Bilal in his recent interviews. Now with this video it has almost confirmed that once again Mammootty and Amal Neerad Ara joining hands for the sequel of classic film.
