Rajini Disaster is back to theaters

Continuing with the trend set by the Tollywood industry and its diehard fans, Kollywood is now planning its own re-releases. According to sources, it is coming out that Super Star Rajinikanth's Baba will be re-releasing again. The official date of Digitally remastered 'Baba' will be announced soon. Rajinikanth's Baba was released in 2002 and it failed to set the screens on fire.

As such the film landed in losses and it was reported that Rajinikanth came forward to compensate the producers and the distributors for the losses. The film dealt with some spiritual elements and for the first time, Rajinikanth romanced Bollywood beauty, Manisha Koirala. The film was directed by Suresh Krishna.

Rahman tuned music for the film which is about a carefree young non-believer of supreme power, Baba, who is a reincarnation of a great saint from the Himalayas. It has to be seen whether the craze for Rajinikanth works wonders for the film on its rerelease.
