Censor Board Experiencing Scares

Generally filmmakers are prone to experiencing tense and nerve breaking moments at very thought of their films facing the ire of Censor Board. They have fears about the umpteen cuts board members suggest according to their whims and fancies.

However, now the most powerful Censor Board is experiencing scares down their spines. It is learnt that after so much deliberation and consultation with the eminent scholars and historians, Censor Board cleared the controversial film Padmavat.

Despite due precautions, many including the state governments are demanding a ban on the film. Censor Board is getting no respite though the Supreme Court directed authorities to ensure peaceful release of the film.

But various groups organised protests in front of the Censor Board office in Mumbai and disrupted school children performing to Ghoomar song. Padmavat stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Till January 25th when Padmavat graces the theaters, Censor Board is sure to take the pressure on.
