Producer Fighting for Theaters!

Finding sufficient number of theaters for release has been a problem for many producers. Preparing the product ready for release is by no way an end for a producer’s struggles. There is a strong monopoly exhibited by a group of influential personalities on Tollywood theater network. For marginal and small producers, the way is so tough to compete with this theater network and especially, when there are big films standing in the queue, the best way for small producer is to wait for their turn.

Here comes one more film titled ‘My Eyes,’ dubbed from a hit Malayalam movie is suffering with release. Starring Meera Jasmine in main lead, the film is said to be a scientific thriller based on a medical concept. It was actually released first in Malayalam in 2013 and grabbed good reports. D Venkatesh of DV Creations dubbed the Malayalam into Telugu version and has been waiting to hit the screens.

Due to unavailability of theaters and lack of support from industry people, ‘The Eyes’ hanged with time and finally hitting the screens on 9th of this month pitted opposite to Anushka and Gunasekhar’s ‘Rudhramadevi.’ Let us see, how far D Venkatesh will remain successful with ‘The Eyes.’
