Noted actor, journalist, producer and director, 'Amanchi Venkata Subrahmanyam'(Avs) breathed his last on 8th November. He is 56. He had been getting treatment for a liver related disease in a private hospital at Lakdikapul in Hyderabad for the past 15 days. The doctors tried their best to offer a better treatment. However, they could not save his life, as his health deteriorated badly. Soon after, he was taken to his son's home from the hospital, his demise happened.
Avs was first seen in a small role in NTR's 'Srinadha Kavisarvabhouma' movie. He bagged Nandi award for 'Mr.Pellam' movie. He got more reputation as a comedian through 'Thuththi' character in the movie Pellipusthkam' directed by Bapu. He acted 500 movies in 19 years. He directed four movies and 'Super Heroes' was his first directorial venture. He turned as a producer through 'Uncle' movie. Avs was seen in 'Pavitra' last year and was seen in one of the roles in latest release 'Nenem Chinnapillanaa'. He was elected as the general secretary of Movie Artists Association(MAA) for three times.Cinejosh pays deepest condolences to the members of the family of Avs. May his soul rest in peace.
