Vishwak Sen Wraps Cult Shooting

Vishwak Sen’s ambitious slasher thriller Cult has completed its shooting, marking a major milestone ahead of its October 30 worldwide theatrical release. The actor is directing and headlining the project, which is being presented as an ambitious new entry into India’s slasher genre.
Several crucial sequences were filmed for 40–50 days on a specially constructed grand set at Ramoji Film City. Hundreds of models participated in these large scale portions, with the makers promising intense action, violence and suspense. The teaser has already generated curiosity around Cult’s dark cinematic world.
Ravi Basrur, known for KGF and Salaar, provides the music and background score, while Sachin, associated with the sound design of Animal, handles sound design. Tharun Bhascker has penned the dialogues, adding his distinctive writing style to Vishwak Sen’s dark and unconventional vision.
Produced by Sandeep Kakarala under Tarak Cinemas, Cult stars Gayatri Bharadwaj, Murali Sharma, Sreekanth Iyengar, Tarak Ponnappa and Pragathi in important roles. The film is being prepared in multiple Indian and foreign languages, with the makers targeting a global theatrical rollout on October 30, 2026.
