Udhayanidhi Stalin arrested for vulgar comments on Trisha

Udhayanidhi Stalin arrested for vulgar comments on Trisha. Tamil Nadu opposition leader Udhayanidhi Stalin was arrested after he made obscene comments on Trisha. During the protest of DMK regarding Cauvery issue addressing a meeting at Thanjavur , Udhayanidhi lashed out at the CM Vijay and the ruling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) government, for not resolving the cauvery issue and ensure water rather then slapping cases on DMK cadre.
He said “Water should have come. But today, not even a single drop of water has come.” He questioned “But is the Chief Minister opening his mouth to speak about this? No, he isn’t. His only concern is, what false allegations can be made against the DMK? What fake cases can be filed?”
During that time, people started shouting 'Trisha, Trisha' and following this, Stalin said " Water will come only to one person and you know it'. DMK leader TKS Elangovan said, "Nothing was said against anyone. Udayanidhi listed out Vijay's failures. There was nothing insulting in speech. He didn't even name Trisha,"
TVK Americai Narayanan said, "Udhayanidhi Stalin has not been arrested for speaking against Chief Minister Vijay or the TVK, but for insulting a woman." Taking a swipe at Udhayanidhi, the TVK leader said that he should change it to "vulgar-nidhi".Additional Commissioner of Police Narendran Nair confirmed that an FIR was filed against Udhayanidhi, a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) legislator, over his alleged derogatory remarks purportedly made against actor Trisha.
