When Yami thought of quitting films

Yami Gautam spoke about quitting films. Yami Gautam shot to fame with Vicky Donor and then went on to star in many hit films. She captured the imagination of all with films like Uri: The Surgical Strike and Bala .

Speaking to scribes, Yami shared that at one point she thought of quitting films. She shared “Yes. In fact, just before Uri and Bala, I had made peace with leaving the industry altogether. I thought I’d return to Himachal. We have farmland there. I imagined beginning a completely different life. My parents were incredibly supportive. They simply said, ‘Come home,'

Yami Gautam recently won national award for her performance in Article 370. The film was directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and it starred Priyamani, alongside Skand Thakur, Ashwini Kaul, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar. It is based on the 2019 revocation of the special status to Jammu and Kashmir granted in Article 370 of the Constitution of India.
