Dhruv Vikram Faces Complaint In Tamil Film Chamber

Young Kollywood actor Dhruv Vikram is in controversy. Producers Neeladri Productions and Pen Studios filed an official complaint in the Tamil Film Chamber against him. They alleged he broke the agreement for his 4th film #DV4 directed by Ramesh Verma after taking RS 1 crore advance and starting pre-production work.

Reports say Dhruv instead launched a new project #DV5 with Mythri Movie Makers under Karan. As per the contract, the Ramesh Verma film was to release first. Producers claim this switch will increase their interest burden and cause financial loss, accusing Dhruv of prioritizing other commitments without consultation.

This is not the first time Dhruv’s projects have stalled. Earlier, films with AR Murugadoss and Mani Ratnam were announced but later shelved due to various reasons. Critics say frequent project changes are affecting his career stability despite strong acting talent.

Industry sources say the Chamber will mediate between Dhruv and producers. With Mythri’s big-budget film already launched, pressure is mounting on Dhruv to resolve the dispute. Trade analysts believe clearing pending commitments is crucial for the actor to rebuild credibility in both Kollywood and Tollywood.
