Vijayashanti shares her views on small films. Vijayashanti during her hay days attained stardom romancing top stars of Tollywood and then played powerful female oriented roles and attained the tag Lady Amitabh.

Now, speaking to scribes, she shared her views on small films. At the trailer launch of Kamakhya she said "I loved the title when I first heard it as Kamakhya. It sounded powerful because Goddess Kamakhya herself represents immense strength. I was sure the film would succeed. Though the title has now been changed to Kamakhya due to certain reasons, it still carries the Goddess's name. So, Abhi doesn't have to shave his head—the film is definitely going to be a hit."

She continued "Today, many filmmakers are coming up with excellent subjects. In fact, small films have tremendous strength because they are driven by content. We all started our careers with small films before reaching this stage. I request the media and audiences to encourage such films and help them succeed."
