Shashtipoorthi teaser review

Renowned performers Rajendra Prasad and Archana are re uniting after 38 years to star in an interestingly titled film Shashtipoorthi. The film directed by Pavan Prabhas is progressing at a brisk pace. The film's glimpse got good response from the viewers.

Today the makers released the film's teaser. The teaser over 2 minutes started of with emotional elements asking people to do Shashtipoorthi to the parents even if they forget marriage anniversaries and birthdays.Rajendra Prasad and Archana are introduced with strong emotional scenes and then Roopesh is introduced as the public lawyer Sriram with action sequence.

Rajendra Prasad and Archana are seen as his parents who feel proud of him. Akanksha Singh is the female lead in the film. Though the makers didnot reveal much about the story, the content, background music and cinematography added value to the film.

The film is produced by Rupesh Chowdary and it has the beautiful and melodious tunes of Ilayaraja and Keeravani tuned a special song.

Speaking about the film, Rajendra Prasad, sometime back said “When we made Mr. Pellam, families used to flock to cinemas. There would be no parking space even. Shashtipoorthi is one such family-friendly movie. Shashtipoorthi ceremonies are crucial in our culture. Roopesh has played a dual role, as an actor and a producer. He knows his task as a producer. He is committed.”
