Aamir Khan Sitaare Zameen Par May Release

The summer of 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting one for movie buffs, with several big releases lined up for April and May. As of now, Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 is confirmed for a May 1 release, and trade sources suggest that two more films, Sitaare Zameen Par and Bhool Chuk Maaf, are eyeing a May release. Aamir Khan's much-awaited film Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by RS Prasanna and also starring Genelia Deshmukh, is reportedly set to release on May 30.

The film's original release date was intended to be in June, but Aamir Khan has opted for a May 30 release instead. The date was chosen keeping in mind the end of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in late May. Meanwhile, Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films is considering shifting the release of the romantic comedy Bhool Chuk Maaf to May 9 from April 10. The decision was prompted by the cluttered April calendar, which includes releases like Sunny Deol's Jaat and Phule, Salman Khan's Sikandar, and Akshay Kumar's Kesari: Chapter 2.

Bhool Chuk Maaf, starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, revolves around a quirky and funny premise. The film's release week could be lucky for Rajkummar Rao, considering the success of his previous film Srikanth (2024). The final call on the release dates of Sitaare Zameen Par and Bhool Chuk Maaf is yet to be taken, and an official announcement is awaited soon. Other upcoming releases include Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning starring Tom Cruise on May 23.
