Mohan Lal on changes in Chiranjeevi Godfather

Mohan Lal is coming to entertainmovie lovers with his upcoming film L2-Empuraan directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is releasing on 27 March 2025 and the entire unit is promoting the film in a huge way.

Expectations are high as Empuraan is the sequel to the hit film Lucifer. It is known that Chiranjeevi remade Lucifer as Godfather. Now speaking about it, Mohan Lal said that in Godfather the makers have made lot of changes in the story and they completely done away with the Tovino Thomas character.

This means, it will be difficult for them to do Godfather remake. He said in Empuraan, Tovino Thomas plays an important role taking the story forward. Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Saniya Iyappan, Sai Kumar, and Sachin Khedekar are playing important roles in the film.
