Sunny Deol in Ranbir Ramayan

Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayan is becoming the cynosure of all eyes. The film directed by Nitesh Tiwari is generating immense interest among movie lovers. Already Ranbir Kapoor revealed that the film would be made in two parts and the first part will be released in 2026. Talented actress Sai Pallavi is playing the role of Goddess Sita.

In the meantime, Sunny Deol speaking to scribes, confirmed his presence in the film. He said "Ramayana is a long project because they’re trying to make it the way Avatar and Planet of the Apes movies were made. All those technicians are a part of it. The writer and director are very clear about the way it has to be and how the characters should be presented,”

He went on to add "You will also get to see the special effects that will make you believe that it (the events unfolding) has very genuinely happened rather than making one feel that these are special effects. To be honest, I’m very sure it’s going to be great, and I’m sure that everybody will love it."

Ravi Dubey will be playing the role of Lakshman. Speculation is on that Sunny Deol will be seen in the role of Lord Hanuman. Currently Sunny Deol is busy with his action entertainer Jaat directed by Gopichand Malineni.
