Actors Bobby Simha, Metro Shirish and Yogi Babu are joining hands for a new film titled Non Violence. The project is helmed by Ananda Krishnan, who is known for directing Metro (2016) and Kodiyil Oruvan (2021). Metro which was released in 2016 has been lauded for its detailing and natural depiction of how chain snatchers work with a water tight screenplay.
Now, the director Ananda Krishnan is coming back with 'Non Violence'. The first look poster, shows a flaming face on one side while the other has several hands holding weapons like guns and axes. Director Ananda Krishnan has previously worked with Shirish and Bobby Simha in his first film Metro which was released in 2016. Details regarding the plot and rest of the cast are under wraps.
Non Violence has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. NS Uthayakumar cranks the camera, Srikanth NB is on the editing table while lyrics have been written by Vivek. The film is produced by Leka and executive produced by S Sivakumar. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres this year in Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada apart from Tamil.
Bobby Simha, who was last seen in the Telugu film Razakar: The Silent Genocide Of Hyderabad, which was released earlier this year, will be seen next in Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 which his theatres on July 12. Yogi Babu recently starred in the Malayalam film Guruvayoorambala Nadayil. He has multiple films in the pipeline including Chimbudeven's Boat, Suriya's Kanguva, Vijay's GOAT and Prashanth's Andhagan, among others in various stages of production.
