Fahadh Faasil Aavesham Heading For A Century

Mollywood is beaming with blockbusters. After Premalu collecting 130+ Crores and Manjummel Boys collected 230+ Crore, and recently Prithviraj's The Goat Life: Aadujeevitham crosses Rs 150 crores, Now another film is on the verge of crossing Rs 100 Crores mark. Fahadh Faasil's Aavesham which was released for Eid turned out to be a huge blockbuster.

About Aavesham

"Aavesham" is a Malayalam action-comedy film directed by Jithu Madhavan who earlier delivered a blockbuster 'Romancham' and co-produced by Nazriya Nazim, Fahadh Faasil, and Anwar Rasheed. Fahadh Faasil stars in the lead role, with support from Ashish Vidyarthi, Sajin Gopu, and Mansoor Ali Khan. Sameer Thahir handled the cinematography, while Sushin Shyam composed the musical scores. The film hit theatres on April 11, 2024.

Aavesham Box Office 

The blockbuster action-comedy film, which marked the first onscreen collaboration of popular actor Fahadh Faasil and director Jithu Madhavan has already emerged as the fifth Malayalam blockbuster of 2024. The movie, which features the National Award-winner in the role of a dreaded gangster named Ranga, has been receiving immense love from the audiences. As per the reports, Aavesham has now entered the Rs 80-crore club of Malayalam cinema.

Aavesham Plot

Three young students set out for Bangalore to pursue their engineering studies, but soon find themselves caught up in a dispute with senior students. Seeking vengeance, they approach Ranga, a prominent figure in the local underworld, for assistance. This encounter with Ranga initiates the unfolding narrative. "Aavesham" is on the verge of becoming the seventh Malayalam film to gross Rs 100 crore globally. Notably, four out of the seven Malayalam films to reach this milestone have come from this year alone.
