Chandoo Mondeti : Talented And Promising Director

Chandoo Mondeti entered films and assisted to Sudhir Varma for crime comedy Swamy Ra Ra. Then he turned into director with Karthikeya and scored a hit. He made his first film blending devotion and mystery genres. This can be clearly seen in his previous film Karthikeya 2. Chandoo has earned an image of promising filmmaker whonis capable of handling big budgeted projects with VFX and grand scale.

Chandoo Mondeti, debuted as a director with Karthikeya in 2014. It was a mystery thriller film starring Nikhil Siddhartha and Swathi Reddy in the lead roles. An incident which happened in Talupulamma Temple in Kakinada district of Andhra Pradesh inspired Chandoo Mondeti to pen the story of Karthikeya. The film became a superhit.

He then directed Premam with Naga Chaitanya, a remake of Malayalam film of the same name. The film was commercially successful. He once again collaborated with Naga Chaitanya for Savyasachi which failed at the boxoffice. He directed a crime drama Bloody Mary featuring Nivetha Pethuraj, Brahmaji, Ajay, and Kireeti Damaraju. The film was directly released on streaming platform Aha.

He came up with sequel to Karthikeya as Karthikeya 2, starring Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupama Parameswaran, and Anupam Kher in prominent roles. Karthikeya 2 became the highest grossing film in Nikhil and Chandoo Mondeti's career. It went on becoming a pan India success. Now, he is coming with #NC23 with Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi which is produced by Bunny Vas under Allu Arvind's presentation. He is making the film with a huge span based on real life love story.
