What Happened to Vijayavari 'Chandamama'?

Movies such as, 'Mayabazar, 'Pathalabhairavi', 'Missamma', 'Gundamma Katha', 'Jagadekaveerunikatha' etc. are regarded as the pride of Telugu cinema. All these movies were jointly produced by late Nagireddy and late Chakrapani on Vijaya Productions. 

Even before the start of Vijaya Productions, Nagireddy and Chakrapani launched  a children's monthly magazine in the year, 1947. There after, the magazine had been entertaining all sections of people through different stories which are ornamented with Indian traditions and customs. Stories based on kings, kingdoms, gods, demons, witches and animals etc. were published  by the magazine. Many people are of the opinion that even 'Chandamama' is one of the properties of Telugu land. Unfortunately, no 'Chandamama' has been seen in book stalls since February of this year. Though the reasons are unknown, some people opined that the publishers might be in financial troubles to release Chandamama. Hope, 'Chandamama' will entertain Telugu readers every month, as usually, soon.
