Islamic terrorists targeted Hindus and butchered them in Pahalgam. Islamic terrorists from across the border with the support of the locals in Jammu and Kashmir targeted Hindus among the tourists and butchered them shooting them in cold blood. Even then few national and the entire International media turned a blind eye to this shocking fact and started trivialising the matter.

Instead of calling them terrorists, many ran headlines like gunmen, mercenaries etc and toned down the intensity by diluting the fact that Hindus were targeted specifically. This shows the double standards of the media and buoyed with it, even many anti nationals and politicians started celebrating the Pahalgam Attack sharing posts on social media.

Some even questioned the veracity in the stories of the victims when they recounted how the terrorists asked them to identify their names by religion, asked them to recite Kalma and also confirm by stripping their pants to confirm that they were non Muslims and they were Hindus.

A family member recounted "They said 'Chaudhari tu bahar aa ja'"  She continued "They then asked my father to recite an Islamic verse (probably the Kalma). When he failed to do so, they pumped three bullets into him, one on the head, one behind the ear and another in the back,"

A survivor recollected “We had just reached Mini Switzerland when the firing had started. It happened twice, and after the second shot, everyone started running. They surrounded us and asked the Hindu men to separate from the Muslim men. We were all silent and were hoping that they would go away. But everything just happened in a second. They watched all of them die. There was nothing I could do,”

Another revealed “There were 2-3 groups beside us. We saw the man asking the group something, and then he was shooting at them. At this, I panicked, and I told my father that the man was coming towards us. My father was calm, and he said let’s see what happens. The man came towards us and said ‘Kalma’. When we said we didn't understand what he was saying, the man shot my father."

Investigation by the NIA, and police revealed that the trousers of around 20 victims were unzipped or pulled down. The revelation confirms that the terrorists first confirmed the religion of the victims by checking if they are circumcised or not before killing them.
