Fans of Young Rebel Star Prabhas are extremely disappointed and crestfallen with the outcome of his period romantic entertainer Radhe Shyam. The film turned out to be a disaster at the box office and no amount of denial from the makers will change the hard reality and bitter truth. Not only fans but movie lovers are distraught with Prabhas for demolishing the impregnable fortress of Baahubali built and presented by Rajamouli to him. People are blaming Prabhas for the same and say Prabhas is solely responsible for losing all his stardom with his senseless acts.
Everyone knows how difficult to get a footing in Bollywood and Rajamouli ensured that Prabhas conquer it and become its emperor with Baahubali. Prabhas got many golden opportunities to team with top directors and top filmmakers and Bollywood filmmakers like Karan Johar competed to do a straight Bollywood film with him. However, Prabhas insulted all of them by keeping them waiting and going ahead with the prior commitments.
He proceeded ahead with Sujeeth's Saaho and then Radha Krishna Kumar' Radhe Shyam, the two projects which he lined up before the success of Baahubali. Before Baahubali, Prabhas is just a Tollywood star and he signed these two projects keeping in consideration Telugu movie lovers' tastes. (It is a different point altogether that the films failed in Tollywood also). After Baahubali, Prabhas turned these two projects into pan India ones and the makers created various new characters to cast Bollywood actors. All those characters looked silly and artificial and spoiled the film's tempo. In Radhe Shyam, Bhagyashree as Prabhas' mom looked odd, outdated, and silly. The same is the case with Kunal Roy Kapoor. The same is the case in Saaho. Tampering of the storylines in the name of Bollywood or Tollywood flavor turned out to be a disaster. If the story is strong and content is perfect, Bollywood or Tollywood sensititivies do not matter and this is proved in a powerful manner by Allu Arjun's Pushpa or Yash's KGF or Rajamouli's Baahubali.
Any sane person after the success of Baahubali, would shelve both Saaho and Radhe Shyam and line fresh projects with Bollywood filmmakers or with for new stories with powerful content. Prabhas failed to do it due to prior commitment and his inability to say 'No' had a deadly impact on his career demolishing the Baahubali fort. Had Radhe Shyam been released earlier, none of the Bollywood makers would have come to sign films with him. Forget about pan world and pan India image, his image in Tollywood is at stake now.
