Renowned Choreographer Shiva Shankar passes away

Tollywood film fraternity got a huge shock when renowned choreographer Shiva Shankar Master passed away today. He breathed his last today evening at around 8 PM. For the last few days, he had been fighting the deadly coronavirus pandemic and was receiving treatment for the same in ICU at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

Shiva Shankar Master was admitted to ICU after he got affected with covid and was diagnosed that 75% of his lungs got affected. Even his wife Suganya was in-home quarantine after she contacted covid while his elder son was battling for life in AIG, Hospitals. Celebrities like Chiranjeevi, Manchu Vishnu, Sonu Sood, Dhanush, and others stepped in to help Shiv Shankar Master get the best treatment.

Tollywood is tear struck and condolences messages are coming in from all quarters. Shiva Shankar master worked in more than ten languages and he won the  Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Choreographer for Poove Unakkaga (1996), Vishwa Thulasi (2003), Varalaru (2006), and Uliyin Osai (2008). Sivasankar master won the National Film Award for Best Choreography for his work in S. S. Rajamouli's historical drama Magadheera (2008), with the jury noting he was rewarded "for breathtaking energy and innovation" in the song "Dheera Dheera Dheera"
