Ranabaali far away from breakeven

Ranabaali far away from breakeven. Vijay Devarakonda, Rashmika Mandanna's period entertainer Ranabaali directed by Rahul Sankartiyan which released amidst huge expectations got mixed reviews at the box office. It is coming out that the film is struggling to reach the breakeven.
The film is made with a budget of Rs 150crs. A distributor shares "It has to garner more collections and needs to touch a Rs 50 crore share in theatres. It has managed around Rs 30 crore and needs more footfalls,"
He continued "Its non-theatrical rights fetched Rs 70 crore for the production house, so the rest has to be recovered in theatres and through music rights. However, it has a long way to go to break even. With theatrical collections dropping to Rs 3 crore a day, it is not enough,"
Some say that the producers are on the safe side and the film was made with Rs 120crs. The distributor says "We have to wait for the final collections report to know whether it recovered its big investment. Riding on the confidence given by director Rahul Sankrityan, they invested heavily. They thought it would work in other languages, but it did not happen as they expected,"
