Mega Star undergoes surgery

Mega Star Chiranjeevi today underwent minor surgery. This came out when Mega Star Chiranjeevi interacted with his fans at Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust during a ThankYou meet on Sunday. Everyone got shocked when they noticed Chiranjeevi's hand strapped with a band-aid.

Chiranjeevi then revealed that he underwent minor surgery. It is coming out that Chiranjeevi was having  Carpal tunnel syndrome. This results in pain, numbness, and tingling in the hand and arm. People suffer from this problem when the median nerve, one of the main nerves in the hand is compressed as it passes through the wrist.

Chiranjeevi underwent surgery at Apollo Hospitals after, Dr. Sudhakar Reddy (son-in-law of veteran director Vijayabapineedu), diagnosed the problem and recommended him to undergo surgery. Due to the surgery, Mega Star Chiranjeevi has taken a break from his upcoming entertainer Godfather directed by Mohan Raja. He will resume shoot after 15 days on November 1st.
