It's official! Telangana government extended Lockdown for two more weeks on the pretext of the spread of coronavirus in Telangana state. Having brainstormed in a cabinet meet for five long hours on Saturday, the government has taken the necessary decision to get Lockdown extended upto April 30.
As is known, the CM KCR strongly demanded the union government the other day to extend the Lockdown for two weeks. KCR has viewed that Lockdown can be used as weapon to contain the spreading of the virus. As such, he even advised PM Narendra Modi in the crucial meet of CMs held on Saturday.
* As of now 503 corona positive cases have been recognized of which 14 infected people were dead while 96 were discharged. Currently, 393 patients are being treated in isolation.
* A total of 25,937 people who were quarantined have been discharged.
* We have long border in Maharashtra in which corona positive cases and deaths are being reported in maximum numbers.
* Lockdown will be lifted gradually after April 30 depending upon the existing circumstances.
