Power Star Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film Vakeel Saab's first single 'Maguva maguva' was released on Sunday, March 8. It's a befitting tribute for women on the International Women's Day.
Starts off with awe-inspiring lines, "MAGUVA MAGUVA LOKAANIKI TELUSA NEE VILUVAA? ...MAGUVA MAGUVA NEE SAHANAANIKI SARIHADDULU KALAVAA?", the song is a mere dedication to women's sacrifice and atonement.
Unless there's a woman, there's no world. And this adage is soulfully depicted in the lines, "NEE KAATUKA KANULOO VIPPAARAKA POTHEY..EE BHOOMIKI THELAVAARADUGAA."
And the lyricist Rama Jogaiah Sastry rightly reckoned the woman the visible goddes with his lines, "AALAYAALU KORANEE AADISHAKTHI ROOPAMAA".
Rama Jogaiah Sastry gets due credit for this prodigious libretto on women. Sid Sriram, who is in top form with his recent melodies, lent his euphonious vocals again.
Precisely, the visuals are displayed with the illustrious women personalities such as Mother Teresa, Sarojini Naidu, Sudha Murthy, Saahimarada Thimmakka, MS Subbulakshmi, Lakshmi Agarwal, Kalpana Chawla, PV Sindhu, Latha Mangeshkar, Mithali Raj, Kiran Bedi and Hima Das.
Thaman, in sooth, gets emerged the best musician with his recent chartbusting compositions. And this song, certainly, raises-the-bar. Flute by Naveen, Kamalakar, Mandolin and Strings by Tapas Toy, Ankur and Chennai Harmony by Veera Swagat, were used appropriately. The chorus is equally as good as the composition and lyrics. All in all, the song appears to live for ages with its melody and the substance.
Vakeel Saab is being helmed by Sriram Venu under Sri Venkateswara Creations.
