These Are Carrying Films On Their Shoulders

Till sometime back, baring a few exceptions, star Heroines got confined to songs and running around heroes in most of the films. However things are changing drastically and now, star Heroines are carrying the films on their shoulders with their powerful performances.

Anushka, Keerthy Suresh, Kangana Ranaut, Trisha, Nayanthara, Alia Bhatt, Taapsee and Jahnvi Kapoor are stealing the hearts of all starring in female oriented films. Sridevi's daughter Janhvi after her debut with Dhadak is starring in the biopic of first female IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena.

Taapsee is stunning all with her steely performances and many are in awe with her performances in Baby, Pink, Naam Shabana, Badla, Mission Mangal, Game Over, Soorma etc. 

Alia Bhatt is the cynosure of all eyes ever since she signed Rajamouli's RRR multi starrer. She is starring in Gangubhai Kathaiwadi under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film is a biopic on female gangster Gangubhai.

Trisha who fulfilled her desire to romance Super Star Rajinikanth in Peta is now featuring in three female oriented films. They are Paramapadam Vilayattu, Garjanai and Rangi. She is starring as Dr. Gayatri in the crime thriller Paramapadam Vilayattu.

Kangana Ranaut is known for her female oriented films. She entertained as Manikarnika the Queen of Jhansi and is now starring in Pangaa and former TN CM Jayalalithaa biopic Thalaivi. 

Nayanthara who is hailed as Lady super Star is not only romancing top stars like Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth, Vijay and Ajith, she is also starring in female oriented films like Netrikan.

Keerthy Suresh cast a magic spell on movie lovers as Savitri, in the legendary actress biopic Mahanati winning the best actress award at the National level. She is starring in three female oriented films Penguin, Miss India and Good Luck Sakhi.

Anushka Shetty after attaining International recognition with Bahubali is lining up only female oriented projects. She entertained with Bhaagamatie and is now starring in Hollywood crossover film Nishabdham. She is playing the role of a deaf and dumb person in the film.
