Ala Vaikunthapurramloo music concert was not that big hit. There were various loopholes in conducting the event because of which all the hype on the film went in vain.
Firstly, there were huge expectations, given all the songs and teaser got overwhelming response and they promoted it as biggest event in south India. Then, the event did not see any special guest. The programs performed on stage also lacked freshness.
The film’s lead actress Pooja Hegde skipped the event as she’s not in the city. Nivetha Thomas did not make much impact, so is Tabu who made comeback after 11 years.
Many other actors who are part of the film did not attend the event including Murali Sharma who’s given the most important role as Bunny’s father in the film.
Even, the theatrical trailer also missed mass punch and it lacked Trivikram mark one-liners.
Trivikram who mesmerizes with his speeches limited himself to heaping praises on Bunny.
Lastly, Allu Arjun’s speech was too lengthy and his uncaring attitude towards Pawan Kalyan did not go down well with power star fans.
The makers need to do something special to grab the attention back.
