Mega Star Chiranjeevi recently realized his dream of starring in the role of a freedom fighter on-screen by donning the role of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The film which was made on Pan India level with a star-studded cast like Big B Amitabh Bachchan, Kiccha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Tamannaah, and Nayanatara, however, failed to set the screens on fire across the nation.
Sye Raa did well only in the two Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Chiru is now getting ready for his next under the direction of Koratala Siva. The director is planning to show Chiranjeevi in two powerful roles as Govinda and Acharya and the film exposes the scams involved in the Endowments Department. Rumors have it that the film would be titled as Govind Acharya with Trisha being touted to romance Mega Star.
Inside talk is Chiranjeevi is insisting on the makers to turn the film into a Pan India project as he feels that the subject has universal appeal and connect chords with anyone.
A source shares, “Chiranjeevi who failed to get success at pan India level with Sye Raa is determined to turn his next with Koratala Siva into Pan India film and score that elusive hit at the national level. As such the makers who at first planned to confine the film to Telugu are now making arrangements to release the film in various languages. Thus Konidela Productions and Matinee Entertainments are increasing the film budget accordingly".
The question is can Chiranjeevi who failed to attain pan India success with Sye Raa, succeed in his second attempt teaming up with Koratala Siva.
