Steel City Tempting Tollywood!

The moment united Andhra Pradesh was divided into Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, everyone started discussing which way Tollywood will go. There were predictions that Tollywood will shift to steel city Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. Even TRS Minister KTR too almost came with such a statement. He expressed that Vizag should come with a grand film industry and it should compete with the Hyderabad film industry.

Even though Amaravathi was declared the new capital of Andhra Pradesh and films shooting underwent, rumors spread that AP government will give importance to Visakhapatnam to establish a film industry. APFDC also announced that top companies showed interest in coming with studios in Visakhapatnam.

With AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy officially announcing that Visakhapatnam will be the executive capital of the state, not only people but also film celebrities are welcoming the move. They are of the opinion that Visakhapatnam will no longer be backward anymore and many vacant lands are there from Vizag, Kottavalasa and Araku.

Since those lands are viable for farming, AP government may hold negotiations with ITDA to handover those lands to Tollywood.
