Hot Hunk Rana's stardom increased tremendously with his power packed performance, menacing looks and towering personality in Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali. 

Right after that he starred in films like Nene Raju Nene Mantri and NTR biopic Katha Nayakudu and Mahanayakudu. He lined up cazy projects like Haathi Mere Saathi, Hiranya Kashyap, 1945, Housefull 4, Enai Noki Paayum Thota and Bhuj-The Pride of India etc along with Virata Parvam in Tollywood.

But more than his films, rumours on his ill health started spreading like wild fire after Baahubali. Following his lean look, rumours spread that Rana was suffering from kidney problem and received treatment at various hospitals. Couple of days back rumours spread that Rana flew to US and underwent kidney transplant with his mother Lakshmi donating her kidney. 

It came out that Suresh Babu planned to keep it as a secret but when the blunder from Allu Arjun's manager while covering up the spat of Allu Arjun in the sets of Trivikram Srinivas' next with an assistant director, everything came out. Suresh Babu too turned serious on the entire issue. 

More than that, Rana's ill health rumours started worrying his fans. Though Suresh Babu and Rana issued clarifications, rumours did not stop. Rana once again issued clarification saying, “I am currently in the US for a few weeks to research about (my next project) and meet a few visual effects companies for special effects for one of my upcoming project. I am scheduled to visit Technicolor’s Pre Production facility and working with digital domain on ‘Hiranyakashyap’.”

In the midst of all this, the question is who is spreading this negative rumours on Rana's ill health. It is known that negative rumours on his ill  health and if Rana keeps quite or confirms his ill health, his career will take a beating and many filmmakers backoff from the crazy projects.
