Vidyut Jamwwal holds his breath for 15 minutes. Vidyut Jammwal is playing the role of Dahim in his Hollywood film Street Fighter. Kitao Sakurai is helming the project produced by Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Jason Momoa, Takayuki Nakayama, and Stefan Makhoul.
Street Fighter is the adaptation of the Capcom video game and features Noah Centineo as Ken Masters, Andrew Koji as Ryu, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Joe "Roman Reigns" Anoa'i as Akuma, David Dastmalchian as M Bison, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson as Balrog, and Jason Momoa as Blanka.
The film is set for a grand release on 16 Oct 2026. Dhalsim is a character celebrated in the video game franchise for yoga-based abilities the actor's real-life mastery of Kalaripayattu, the ancient Indian martial art, aligns closely with the character's physical and spiritual attributes.
During the promotions at Mumbai, many claimed that he held breath for 15 minutes. Vidyut Jamwwal said, "Main apni younger generation ko ek baat bolna chata hu, ruk jao thoda sa. (I want to tell the younger generation one thing: slow down a bit). 'How do you get it?' I don’t know how I got it, because I stood still."
He continued "Hum dekh rahe sab log bhag rahe hai, yeh karna hai, voh karna hai... kuch nahi karna hai; ek baar tham jao, ek baar ruk jao. (We see everyone running around, wanting to do this and that... do nothing; just pause once, stop once). That skill will really, really take you very far."
