JVAS, Mahanati And Now Maharshi

It’s official now. Super Star Mahesh Babu’s prestigious 25th film Maharshi release is postponed from April 25th to May 9th. The film’s producer Dil Raju announced Maharshi new release date in a press meet. While Mahesh Babu has negative sentiment with May month, producers Dil Raju and Ashwini Dutt feel the month, especially the date May 9th as positive sentiment for them.

Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s iconic film Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari and Nag Ashwin directed Savitri’s biopic Mahanati made under Vyjayanthi Movies were released on May 9th and we know how big hit both the films were.

On the flip side, Dil Raju produced Bhadra and Parugu were released in May month. While Bhadra was a runaway hit, Parugu was an above average grosser. Dil Raju hopes that, the May sentiment will work for the film and it will become one of the biggest hits in Mahesh Babu’s career.

Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, Maharshi stars Pooja Hegde, Sonal Chauhan and Allari Naresh in other lead roles.
