Vijay Deverakonda's Geetha Govindam has become a sensational hit at the box office with record first week collections were registered at the box office. With this success, the young hero reached next level of stardom among his peer groups.
As we reported before, the film collected Rs.9.89 crores on the first day of its release world wide. In some of the centres, the film crossed the shares of big heroes' films. For an instance, the movie minted Rs.17 lakhs gross on the first day in the city of Chennai. Young Tiger NTR's latest offing Jai Lava Kusa collected Rs.16 lakhs gross in the same city on the day one of its release.
Geetha Govindam features Rashmika Mandanna as female lead. Gopi Sundar composed tunes of the film. The movie was bankrolled by Bunny Vas on GA2 Pcitures. Mega Producer Allu Aravind is the presenter.
