Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Agnyathavasi disastrous performance seems to be helping other films raising gradually. It is a known thing that all the four film Agnyathavasi, Jai Simha, Gang and Rangula Ratnam carried negative reports on the first day of their releases.
Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's Jai Simha carried divided talk on the first day of its release. Even then, the movie has been getting steady collections as it offered sufficient stuff to mass audience. The film minted remarkable collections on Sankranthi and Kanuma. According to trade reports the film minted Rs.17 crores world wide for four days. The movie is yet to accumulate Rs.12 crores more to recover its investments. Although the target seems to high, steady run for ten more days might lead the film reaching break even.
Hero Suirya's Gang also carried decent reports on day one. May it be due to Suriya's aggressive promotions in Telugu states or the movie's content, the film raised gradually and is spinning good money at the moment. The movie is likely to be the first film to get break even in this season.
King Nagarjuna's production venture Rangula Ratnam, which has been made with a shoestring budget, nevertheless couldn't make much noise at the box office.
