Failed To Capitalize On Frail Friday!

To everyone’s knowledge, the reason why this Friday is kept vacant without allowing any new movies to hit the screens is just to capacitate ‘Khaidi No 150, GPSK’ and ‘Shatamanam Bhavati’ with one more week of extension in theaters. Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, Suresh Babu being the key players in AP, TS theater network and each of them having blessed a movie in Sankranti battle, there was no space for other films to see the light.

Nevertheless, the trade strategy is superb but the result seems to be not quite promising. Except few of the shows on Saturday and Sunday, the business was reported to be dry yesterday (Monday) with theaters gone empty. Coming three to four days can be much more challenging to at least breakeven with theater rents.

Bad thing is, Suriya’s ‘Singham 3’ is also postponed due to Jallikattu enabling ‘Luckunnodu’ to take the driver’s seat on Jan 26th. Chances are absolutely dim for three Sankranti films to pull off a game till Feb 3rd.
