Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'Bruce Lee - The Fighter' hit the screens today and received unprecedented openings. The movie has been made as an action and family entertainer which is embedded with all the commercial ingredients in it. Ram Charan has simply nailed it and became the show stealer. He excelled in his performance with perfect timing in all emotions like sentiment, comedy and love. His dances are outstanding and probably the best among other heroes of recent times. Rakul Preet Singh looked gorgeous in all songs. She contributed her part in greater quarters for the movie.
All songs, which already became chartbusters, were shot well. Be it a solo, montage or a set song, the makers have taken special care in making of the songs. Likewise, adrenaline pumping action sequences were also shot splendidly.
Srinu Vaitla's screen play was good. His trade mark of 'comedy of errors' and special characterization of comedians like Suzuki Subramanyam role of Brahmanandam were continued in this movie as well. However, there is nothing newness in the story of the movie and there were one or two thumbs down moments in the second half.
And last but not the least, Megastar Chiranjeevi's amazing reentry during climax episode and Thaman's magnificent background score for Chiranjeevi's entry scene cannot be forgotten by anybody. Audiences might have been felt flaws of the movie here and there but Chiranjeevi appeared to have erased them with his terrific screen presence and that's why fans are coming out of theaters with the slogans 'Megastar is back', 'King is back', 'Boss is back' etc. The movie was opened with positive reports on day one. Exact fate of the movie will be known in forthcoming days.
