SSR Plans 'Garuda Garvabhangam' or 'Garuda Puranam'?

Speculations were triggered that ace director SS Rajamouli would be directing a movie titled 'Garudu' next to 'Baahubali 2'. 'Garuda' is planned with Rs.1000 crores budget. Ever since the news was broken out, various assumptions are being made on the project.

Some say it would be the story of 'Garuda Garvabhangam' that Rajamouli mulled over to direct it. It is the story of taming the pride of the Kite- God, Garuda, a vehicle of Supreme God Vishnu. While some more movie lovers predict that Rajamouli may have the plans of directing 'Garuda Purana', which is one of the eighteen puranas of Hindu body of texts known as 'Smriti'. A few analysts feel that it could be the complete story of 'Garuda' starting from his birth, his rivalry with serpents, hatred of his step mother Kadruva on him, details of his parents Kashyap and Vinatha and so on.

Whatsoever, Rajamouli has engendered curiosity on his new project. Right now, the pre production work of 'Baahubali 2' is going on in a lightening pace. The movie will go on sets in the month of November.
