Prince Mahesh's fans have been demanding their hero for a long time to do the remakes of Superstar Krishna's blockbuster films. They like to see their star as 'Alluri Seetharamaraju', which was earlier essayed by Krishna in 70s. The movie stood as an industry hit then.
When Mahesh was quizzed by the journos about doing this patriotic film, he exhibited his reluctance. " I have watched dad's 'Alluri Seetharamaraju' for 100 times. I would never spoil the original flavour remaking the movie. I feel classics shall not be touched as fans pin lot of expectations on these projects. Also, I don't compel the script writers to prepare the scripts for James Bond and Cowboy films which were done by dad then," said Mahesh.
Meanwhile, Mahesh is busy participating the promotions of his forthcoming film 'Srimanthudu'. Aggressive promotions of the movie were kick started by the makers two days ago. The movie has been made as a complete family entertainer with an underlying social message in it.
