This Is Never Seen tragedy at Pushkaralu

This is never seen tragedy in Godavari Pushkaralu. Going by the reports, at least 27 people have died at Godavari Pushkaralu stampede today and 15 more people sustained with injuries and are fighting for life. 

Touted as Andhra Pradesh Kubhamela, Godavari Pushkaralu were launched by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu earlier this morning. According to sources, soon after Chandrababu's offerings completed, the gates at number one Pushkar Ghat of Rajahmundry were opened. Since a very big number of pilgrims, who had been waiting for 5 to 6 hours in queue, rushed straightaway afer the gates got opened and stampede was occurred. 

Meanwhile, CBN has announced Rs.10 lakhs ex gratia each for the families of the deceased. The PM Modi, AICC heads Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and many other politicians shocked with the incident and expressed their condolences to the deceased.
