Story Behind ANR, Dasari Rivalry

It is a crystal clear fact that there is a staunch rivalry between legend Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Darshakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao. We have seen ANR didn't pay his condolences after the death of the wife of Dasari and in return, Dasari also didn't pay his condolences for the death of ANR's wife. Dasari was also not invited for the ANR's felicitation function recently. 

Digging into the facts, it is reportedly known that, long ago, when Dasari was busy directing movies with all the heroes, he used to direct many movies with ANR as well. For one of his own projects, ANR acted as the hero. However, Dasari Narayana Rao couldn't pay the full remuneration to ANR even after completion of that movie. ANR is said to have asked his balance remuneration many  times to Dasari. However, there was reportedly no response from Dasari. Having understood Dasari had no plans to pay him the balance remuneration, ANR, thereafter, kept Dasari aside. And the differences between the two bigwigs have been continuing for decades.
