Rajkummar Rao replaces Aamir Khan in Ujjwal Nikam biopic

Dinesh Vijan announced that he would be coming up with a biopic on Ujjwal Nikam, renowned public prosecutor who successfuly argued and ensured that terrorist Ajmal Kasab got the highest sentence according to Indian law.

Earlier reports came that Mr.Perfectionist Aamir Khan would be playing the lead role. Now reports are coming that Rajkummar Rao replaced Aamir Khan. A source shared  “Dinesh is keen on having Rajkummar play Nikam. He brings the right intensity and range to the role. Preliminary talks have been positive.”

Rajkummar Rao is currently busy with  Vikramaditya Motwane . He is playing the role of a sportman in the film. 

A source shares  “Raj is immersed in prep for Vikramaditya Motwane’s next, which is a physically and emotionally demanding script since he plays a sportsman. The dates will need to be worked out.”
