Naga Chaitanya Thandel To Clash With NTR Devara

Ntr 'Devara: Part 1' and Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi's 'Thandel' are among the much awaited films of the year. Both the film carry huge expectations surrounded with positive buzz. While 'Devara: Part 1' is much bigger in scale and rides alot on it, 'Thandel' too is being made with highest budget in Naga Chaitanya' s career. 'Devara: Part 1' which was scheduled for April release initially has now moved to October 10 for Dasara due to delay in production works. 

Now, the latest news is 'Thandel' team has locked October 10th as its release date which will lead to clash with 'Devara' at the boxoffice. As both the films are doing good business and backed by big stars and banners, there won't be much issue regarding the allotment of theatres as well. Both the films are eyeing to make full advantage of Dasara festival which will fall from October 10 to 12.

'Thandel' has been building anticipation right from its announcement with regularly releasing appealing content that is building buzz around the film. The essence of 'Thandel' which was released in January generated very good attention among the audience. The pairing of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi after Superhit 'Love Story' is also adding more value to the film.

The film is currently filming key scenes at a Pakistani jail set erected at BHEL, Hyderabad. Dircetor Chandoo Mondeti is working with Naga Chaitanya for the third time while Bunny Vaas is producing the film under the presentation of Allu Aravind's Geetha Arts. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the film.
