Vivek Agnihotri mocks Salaar,Prabhas fans. Vivek Agnihotri is all set for the release of his upcoming film, "The Vaccine War," on September 28, 2023. The filmmaker recently opened up about facing online abuse from fans of Prabhas when his film was pitted against Prabhas's "Salaar."

Vivek Agnihotri emphasized the importance of every film getting a fair chance and not being targeted prematurely. Speaking about the clash with Prabhas's "Salaar," Vivek stated, "The Vaccine War" is a small film with no star power, made on a budget of ₹12.5 crore, while "Salaar" is a massive ₹300 crore film. Their fans were hurling abuse and trolling me, saying things like 'Get him away from here, he should not come here. Why is he here?' But, in the end, it was someone else who postponed their release." Vivek appeared to be referring to the delayed release of "Salaar."

He also revealed that he has been facing online trolling and abuse from certain fans. "The Vaccine War" is touted as India's first-ever Bio-science film and stars Nana Patekar as the head of a team of scientists embarking on a journey to create India's first Covid-19 vaccine.

The film also features Anupam Kher, Raima Sen, Sapthami Gowda, and Pallavi Joshi in pivotal roles. Vivek Agnihotri's dedication to his craft and his commitment to his film's message have remained steadfast despite facing online criticism, and "The Vaccine War" promises to be a unique addition to Indian cinema.
