There is nothing wrong on playing the song on any other event and celebration, but during Independence Day celebrations, people generally play patriotic songs and remember the freedom fighters who fought for India's freedom. So much so for the cheap tastes of the organizers and the participants.

Samantha shared her thoughts and posted "They say New York is where dreams are made. I started my career when u shot my first film here…..A scared little girl without a clue about how she was going to make it…but daring enough to dream the big dream! Today, 14 years later…. "
