In a spurt of anger, Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Thursday asked members not to waste precious House time by indulging in malice against each other.
The Chief Minister was visibly annoyed after the Telugu Desam members stalled the House proceedings seeking a legislative probe into allegations against Chirala MLA Krishna Mohan.
Expressing concern over the wastage of precious time in the Assembly, Rosaiah urged the members to strictly adhere to the rule book.
Describing the walkouts and stalling of the proceedings as ‘undemocratic’ and ‘unfortunate,’ he called upon members to respect the directions of the Speaker.
“The Speaker's directions must prevail in the House, irrespective of the post you hold in the Government. This holds good even for the Chief Minister,” he snapped.
The Chief Minister urged all members to cooperate with the Speaker for the smooth conduct of the House.
He advised the members to focus on people’s problems so that healthy discussions could take place and immediate solutions found.
