'Bahubali' 1st Half Directed by Raghavendra Rao

SS Rajamouli would be honored to see if any of the traits he acquired working under Guru Raghavendra Rao are transparently visible in his films. We are all well acknowledged on Rajamouli as a talent groomed by Raghavendra Rao and obviously there will a mark or half sensed in Jakkanna’s directional skills. 

Till now, the commercial formula and common sense Rajamouli has shown in carving top commercial blockbusters of Tollywood should be identified as a blessing of KRR. Nevertheless, the professional passion of Jakkanna also should not be downsized. Yesterday released magnum opus ‘Bahubali’ is although getting some brickbats from top critics for feebleness in content and weak story telling method yet the colorful first half of ‘Bahubali’ is perceived as full of trademark KRR treatment.

‘Pachcha Bottesina’ song or hot romantic treatment of episodes between Prabhas, Tamanna with full use of flowers, pearls, tattoos etc and richly carved artistic set work resembled the glory of a Raghavendra Rao’s film in 1980s. Being an half producer of ‘Bahubali,’ some people have openly doubted on KRR directed lion share of first half. Only Prabhas and Tamanna can answer this.
