Congress rebel candidate Adala Prabhakar Reddy on Monday claimed that he enjoys the support of over 50 MLAs from Seemandhra regions for his candidature in the Rajya Sabha elections.
Speaking to media persons here, Adala said that nearly 175 MLAs were in favour united Andhra Pradesh and over 50 of them have assured to support his candidature. He said that the decision to contest the Rajya Sabha elections was individual and he was not enjoying the support of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Adala said that he hopes to raise the voice of Samaikhyandhra by winning the Rajya Sabha seat. He asked the MLAs to vote for him following their conscience.
