Facilitate voting on Telangana Bill: YSRCP

YSR Congress Party MLA B Karunakar Reddy on Wednesday demanded that the State Reorganisation Bill should be put to voting.

Speaking to media persons here, Karunakar Reddy said that the Speaker, under Rule 359, 360 and 361, have powers to conduct voting for every clause of the Telangana Bill. Requesting Speaker Nadendla Manohar to exercise his powers, he said that the Ysrcp would not allow debate unless voting is made mandatory for the Telangana Bill.

Karunakar Reddy alleged that the TDP and TRS have entered into a secret deal with the Congress party to divide the State and for the same reason, Ysrcp's demand for a resolution on united Andhra Pradesh was ignored by the government
