Ever since the Telangana issue has flared up in the aftermath of YSR death, two posts have been in the limelight, Union Home Minister and the State Governor.
Governor ESL Narasimhan on Wednesday met Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde at Delhi and speculation is rife that the two had discussed State affairs with special focus on Telangana.
Preceding the meeting, the Governor had met the officials of Home Ministry and Intelligence Department. It is also believed that the Governor is likely to meet Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
Home Ministry is the key for a decision on Telangana. The earlier Minister P Chidambaram drew a flak for his turn around on the issue. Shinde too made a few remarks which was repudiated by another union minister but the issue was resolved with Shinde telling that Telangana issue needs more time. It was rather party versus government tussle.
Chief Minister N Kiran Kuamr Reddy and PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana had already visited Delhi and discussed the issue with senior leaders. The Centre has said that it will also call leaders from all the three regions and discuss the issue with them.
